In the last 4 years, when last remaining Bitcoin will be mined (2137-2140), there will be only 61076 satoshi mined a year. That is just 167 satoshi a day. #Bitcoin #BitcoinFacts #BitcoinStats #FunFact

Don't know how you get to those numbers ? With current Bitcoin implementation the smallest unit is one Satoshi. So if each block would reward that smallest amount we would have 1 sat every 10 minutes totals 1×6×24=144 sats a day. The exact number isn't that important at all. Still amazing what the implications are ! The fun thing is we are right now in the phase where the mined number of Bitcoin is almost not of influence on the actual price (trading volume dwarfs mined numbers). The next interesting phase will be where mining will really be limited by some aspect (energy available, hw limitations, fees + coinbase limitations, etc.). We are getting close to the point where the impact of Bitcoin are becoming of state interest. That will probably be another change in the mining aspect. Financial gains will probably reduce but state/stability/social relevance will become more important. Money is a bedrock of modern society. Current fiat system makes abuse possible (and unfortunately is done on an huge scale) is extremely expensive and basically rather insane we still use it. Hugely interested in how those things gonna work out.

I basically devided issuance being halfed every 4 years until the 2136-2140, starting at 50 in 2009. Of course making projection that far in the future is more for fun. However, I like your input and wise opinion. 👍 The numbers are not that far apart. That is 17 cents vs. 20 cents today. Wondering what could one buy with 23 sats in 2140. 🤔
