I have to say I *REALLY* enjoy this setup:
MacBook Pro with Apple Silicon for portability, long battery life, good screen and physical security
Remote Ubuntu + Nix for all development work. ssh from the MacBook, every project inside of a different tmux session.
Currently on a Ryzen 9 7950x with 128GB RAM
