Some quick thoughts on X vs Nostr. Creating content on X is like raising a billboard that advertisers can rent out. The value the billboard creates is for advertisers, not for the consumer of the content placed on the billboard.
If one ports content to Nostr then one can quickly find out who the main benefactor of the content is. If one do well on Nostr then it can be reasonably assumed the content is a direct benefit to its consumer. If it does not then chances are the content is a benefit to the one trying to sell a product.
Sadly, it seems a lot of X creators meet this reality and instantly retreat back to X, unhappy with their results on Nostr. If one produces quality and edifying content then one will naturally succeed on X AND Nostr. If you produce content that is only good for displaying products to consumers that scroll by then you will FAIL on Nostr. The error I am seeing is that many of these creators will then blame Nostr for their lack of success when they should be evaluating their own content.
Nostr is not a billboard telling you to stop at the next exit for a chicken sandwich. Nostr is a kitchen for those who can cook a hearty meal and enjoy it with friends.
