0.86% currently. Close enough. My point is that's it's not much. It won't cause inflation because the coins come in at fair value through proof of work. Bitcoiners like the idea of a hard cap and NGU, but when it's the banks holding most of the the coins they will be able to manipulate the price to their advantage. It won't be so convenient then.

I never thought about the banks being able to manipulate the price. Also with Bitcoin Core V30, I am growing a bit worried about Bitcoin as a whole…
