The United States has requested that Poland deploy one of its Patriot missile batteries to the Middle East, but Warsaw has declined. Defense Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz said: “Our Patriot batteries are used to protect Polish airspace and NATO’s eastern flank… we have no plans to relocate them anywhere.”
