I see that Minecraft is one of the best-selling games in the world (if not the best-selling) and attracts people of various ages, which creates a huge demand to take the idea out of Microsoft's hands and leverage it for people who want worthy updates, parents who don't want their kids playing 'slot' games, those who don't like Microsoft or who can't/won't pay to play.
