In the US they just have private companies do the surveillance. Also, fuck that shit.

Here we have a private companies that pretend to be police, but now the actual police have probably gone from being the best in world to being one of the worst in the western world in the span of about 30 years. I have zero interact with them but honestly most but a few hangers on waiting for retirement I wouldn't trust them with a barge pole.

That's probably why they have an unnecessary amount of police there just to stop that . They usually don't turn up at all if you have a problem like you have been burgled or something but they have plenty of time for that and arrest people for tweets, that's why no one likes them.
