My boss had to rescind his promise of a bonus payout because we lost one project ouf of the blue that was bringing in lots of cashflow. Then he settled on sending each of us a new piece of hardware of our choice. Due to the rising costs and since we both agreed that there’s going to be a massive financial crisis hitting the Euro Zone, I told him that I’m not in dire of new hardware and that I can work with what I have. Last week he told me that he ordered it anyways and that it’s going to arrive tomorrow.
