If miners or a single team of devs can control Bitcoin then it’s a failed project

That isn't what's happening. My point is if miners ignore the filters and knots nodes are as low in numbers as they are, then they achieve nothing. So the miners will have to agree with knots ideals but they won't as they want to earn. Ocean is the only pool (I'm aware of) that is aligned. How many blocks have they mined compared to the rest? Miners need the nodes to validate the block. At the moment there is a consensus for Core.
