How does spaces bypass ICANN, you only register your name on chain?
Also, why is it capped at 3600 spaces per year? That means most people need to trust someone to give them a subspace.

Spaces Protocol bypasses ICANN because it doesn't use their centralized DNS hierarchy. Instead spaces (names) are anchored directly to Bitcoin's blockchain with minimal on chain footprint.
The 3600 annual cap is a protocol design feature to prevent squatting. Something that has plagued other naming systems.
Everyone with a subspace has the option to do 100% of their transactions on chain if they wish and be treated the same as a parent space.
