Logging in to nostr after a 300 round practice session at the gun range feels like a virtual teleport back to the late 1770's...a decentralized world, where speech/ideas were protected by the individual's ability to defend them from tyranny.
While the centralized vacuum of power doesn't wear a crown anymore, its tentacles reach deep into every aspect of our lives...most notably our virtual lives.
Nostr and Bitcoin represent for me, unarmed resistance to the violent tendency of power to centralize, coerce, influence and steal. Solo mining, node running, transacting and educating keeps the Bitcoin Network alive and growing.
In your opinion, aside from coding to improve user experience, what does NOSTR need to increase its user base?
