I guess I don't understand your point, do you disagree? I'm talking about this specific scenario: hyperinflation in paper, no internet access and I need to pay my bills at home. In this scenario I can't access my Bitcoin at home, it doesn't matter if it's hard to travel with substantial silver or gold holdings because I'm not traveling. And if I am traveling it's to somewhere that I can access the internet (and thus Bitcoin) I don't need to worry about the difficulties of traveling with metal as I'll have access to funds when I arrive.

Yeah if your plan is to stay put, I guess it works. It's just that under those conditions, and with the assumption that I have the resources, my mind would be focused on leaving.
