I was walking into a rental car office and saw a guy sitting with his gf on a bench. He was wearing an XRP hat.
I said, "Is that an XRP hat?"
He said yes, excited that I had noticed.
I continued walking and said, "It's going to zero."

His reaction was total shock and confusion. Might have been his first and only real world touch point with someone who knew about XRP.

Lol yeah I know what you mean. I was at a buddies party once, a co worker of his overheard me talking about Bitcoin and got really excited. He proceeded to tell me about how he follows all these influencers on Facebook and YouTube and is big into XRP and slew of other "tokens". I told him crypto was a scam and a marketing term and that his influencers were just using meaningless buzz words. He backtracked so hard. He still talks to me about Bitcoin sometimes but doesn't bring up his shitcoins.
I'm glad he had the humility to reconsider. Many of the shitcoiners I meet don't
