Let me help you visualize it.
A typical American parking spot is about 9’ by 18’, 9*18=162 sqft. Take this and divide it by population density, that’s 162/4.9≈33.
Imagine trying to fit 33 people inside a single parking spot. That's how densely packed the 500 people would be within the 2,450 sqft area.
