I identified as leftist before I got into Bitcoin, but I don't think I shifted to libertarian/conservative/right either. It's more like Bitcoin put me on a third axis, entirely separate from the fiat based political system. I sympathize with the best parts of both sides and am starting to see the divide as more manufactured than organic.

As for me, I used to think Bitcoin was neat before I identified as a leftist, but then I took a cold hard look at it as a cultural and economic force instead of a technology and realized that Bitcoin is really just not that great. It's a wonderful speculative asset, technological curiosity, and tool in criminal activity, and in realizing this I lost interest.
The right wing has no redeeming qualities. Don't shill for oligarchs and fascists that want to keep you poor and wipe human diversity from the face of the earth
