It's a good exercise. 'What is your welcome note?' I think mine would be: Welcome. Use the Nostrudel client. When you go to people's profile pages you can see which communities they're part of, what posts they have liked. Dig around there. Don't follow too many people at first, head over to hashtags you are interested in. For example everyone loves #dungeonsynth great, so you can follow the hashtag and see who is active within that hashtag. Consider following them. Head over to the Communities section, join ones you like. Yes, there is a n/DungeonSynth community. They may not be that busy at the moment but you can find people to follow active in them too. (I've only started doing it but follow #discuss to see some highlighted threads. Also archived in n/Discuss ) Mute words is your friend. Good luck, have fun.
