when i have to tell a dog parent that their dog, my patient, needs to lose weight & i see the human is also overweight, my mind screams _say it, say it out loud_
but i hold my tongue because i enjoy my side job

Hopefully some people say “I guess both of us do!”
actually, one did & it made me happy. i should say it’s not very common. i don’t encounter many overweight dogs + owner combo
