That small print says that only a very small portion of the money goes to what they’ve advertised.
1. Whether or not they take BTC
2. Whether or not I'm going to be getting garbage from them in the mail/email forever. I just want to give y'all money, chill. Especially the mail stuff, like, spend money on your mission not on asking me for more donations.
Whether they are scammers or chumps. Being a charity is a full time job and the last person that should be running one is feminine
Charities should always be 100% transparent. There are standards for this. The only way to know if a charity is worthy is whether they are successful in their mission, which should be measurable like a KPI. Besides that, a third party auditor is necessary not only to root out corruption in the organization, but to ensure they are solvent and whether their recipients do not end up in recidivism. Its not a simple matter of throwing money at a problem, most of the time money makes the problem worse. If you can find a worthy charity, you are fortunate.
They can take whatever they want, I don't expect them to be BTC-only.
If the owners of a charity have full focus on the goal of the charity and not loose too much money in their own burocracy. Especially in my country where wages are high.
I am absolutly fascinated of the program:

The concept is easy and they invest in scientific proofe of their impact. This is where I spend my future charity money.
