The geopolitical shift in the world and in Africa were happening in slow motion only until 2022-2023. China and Russia are at the helm to evict the West, in particular France. It looks like African nations are thinking they will finally manage their own destiny but it seems naive? New rulers in town will seek to rule them. Will the West let that happen without a say? I don’t think so either.
We now have 3 hot spots in the world laying the ground for a world conflict between the old wear and “the new emerging world”
• On the borders of Europe/Ukraine
• In Africa
• In Taiwan

It wasn't happening in slow motion, the western pleb just wasn't instructed to care about it until recently when it started impacting the bankers and military industrial complex.
In a sense there was no public statement made. Now the word is out and in the open.
It's all been discussed quite publicly and has been mainstream in the global south for a number of years though, it really started 20 years ago with the SCO and the final nail in the coffin that made it undeniable was when the US left Afghanistan.
