If I'm to take an old PC tower I have and convert it into a Linux based 'home media server' and bitcoin machine (node, Nostr relay, etc.) What is nostr's recommendation for Linux distribution? Any guides would be greatly appreciated too! #asknostr

personally i use artix for my home server.
something readonly and container-based could be good for server use.
...and just in case you wanted to branch out from linux, BSD is _excellent_ for servers 😈
Thanks for the reply! As a Linux and even media server noobie would you recommend artix for both easy of setup/use to someone new to Linux and B does it have a focus on privacy and security?

in this case i'd reccomend something simpler than artix, maybe debian?
Thanks sir!
StartOS by far the easiest
You forgot *best* as well 😉
