This is what I’m thinking too. @craigraw please don’t stop development for MacOS if this does happen. Many of us know and others will learn how to install even when the OS warns against it.

Yeah, when installing new versions, mac gives a warning that I'm running something downloaded from the dirty internet and not their clean app store, however it always installs after clicking through. If this were to pass, it'd be different? OFC I'd want updates, nevertheless. Craig's signature on the manifest is more valuable than Apple's.
