Yeah no 😅, that "free" market can only be as good as the humans who operate in it. Good humans create good times, bad ones create bad times. Well atleast personally I believe that: 👍: Good humans create good markets. 👎: Good markets create good people. P.S. why I quoted "free": let's say you are a wise, clever inventor with your heart at the right place and you live in a free market. Now you create a useful, important product. Good job 👏! But the customers still are opportunistic sheeps and will keep buying from the same damned slavery monopoly corporation, because everbody does. "If everybody jumps from the mountain, jumping must be the right thing to do." The free market is better than an authoritarian state ofc, but it doesn't inherently lead to a better life, good humans do.
