You start tinkering with your home lab, thinking it’ll be a quick little tweak. Next thing you know, it’s 1 AM and you’re deep in the weeds trying to figure out why a router, a switch, or a static IP isn’t cooperating. You’re sure the changes make sense… but the equipment has other plans.
Somehow, this is part of the fun. Those late night “why isn’t this working?” sessions are where you actually learn the most.
