The thing about very small probabilities is that over extremely long time scales, they become inevitable. There has been enough time for random collisions and gene mutations to evolve all of the species on earth.

We will agree to disagree on this one 🫂
Evolution sounds and smells like a big fat lie to me
Nope Jay. Love you bro but just nope.
Yeah that's fair 🫂
I mean, created or evolved, I'm still playing the same game. Just trying to live the best life I can.
Still doesn’t answer the question who created that blob in the first place? Who is to determine higher intelligence? The theory of evolution creates more questions than it provides answer. It also builds the foundation for a nihilistic/dangerous worldview. (Which isn’t problematic in itself if it were actually true, which I don’t believe it to be)
Removing the probability of existence of a creator in the minds of the masses also gives human institutions the green light to pretend and act as if their authority is somehow supreme.
We're not talking about low probabilities, but impossibilities (i.e. genetic mutation producing new information, irreducible complexity arising in situ, etc.). More time does not make the impossible possible.
