i dont understand the idea of feeling good to feel good when so many are suffering catastrophic shit
again: i get self care to recharge to return to the front lines
i dont get self care for self cares sake
i do if you have kids
that is: i am taking a bath with a candle to not lose my mind at my toddler
to me: feeling good => able to be so generous, able to eat so much shadow, protect so many people, take so much ego injury no sweat
cos healthy, not in body pain, not an issue, did yoga today, pretty invincible so can take a lot cos have the bandwidth to do so
i feel like i approach this territory when i house cbd and drink water
feels nice
or when i stretch on my fav tree to climb which im sitting under and am about to climb so i will be phoneless as i do that
zero worries. low as hell tree. about stretching. i get like 3 feet off the ground. can fall no problem. no rocks. just woodchips and grass.
