People are not good at compartmentalizing

That’s true. Many OG Bitcoiners think that because they were right about Bitcoin, that means they’re right about other things and people should listen to them about those other things. Unfortunately the OG Bitcoiner simply doesn’t have the proof of work necessary to justify their role as a pied piper on those other subjects.
