Today I tried to take away from a 12 year old nephew his phone, I had no idea how deep is the addiction to screens in him, I saw the face of the devil trying to take it back, literally like the possessed face from the Exorcist, angry snarling with teeth closed tight, tears and screaming. Scary stuff, I talked with him after he calmed down, he doesn't care about his addiction, his defense is that everybody around him is addicted to screens so why is a problem if he is addicted too and he doesn't care about limiting his screen time. He is the only child of a single mom, I'm very curious what will be the fate of these children.
