Debt is fascinating. The need is clear. The incentive to make a possession yield is also clear. Terms and risks are the variables. Most stuff is scarry to borrow, you have to pay it back usually with an interest. If you would have borrowed #Bitcoin years ago and would have to pay back in #Bitcoins and would have to use fiat to buy Bitcoin now, you would have a very hard time. With our fiat being debt the whole concept of borrowing and saving becomes quite fuzzy. Saving pieces of paper, or digital, that are a debt to an undefined person, is strange. Just like borrowing those pieces of paper, or digital, is strange. The whole concept is rather strange. Just because some law says those pieces of paper must be accepted to settle any dept.... While at the same time one party is allowed to print those notes, or just put on a digital ledger, while you and I either have to work for it or pay an interest if we borrow it. How they pulled it off, and where able to keep the system alive for so long will be one for the history books. I can remember in highschool I had to laugh at the people in Africa that accepted glassbeats as money when the English could produce them almost for free. Imagine what future generations will think about us Working, Saving, Borrowing, paper notes, some can print for free ? Perhaps you should give #Bitcoin some more thoughts.
