I like Fedimints. I like TEEs. I'm not sure Fedimints need TEEs though. The big inovation of Fedimints would be if you could add guardians along the way in order to make them more decentralized as they went along. Imagine Bitcoin-01 where it was just Satoshi and Hal. Then you wanted to add more nodes, you had to shut that down and make Bitcoin-02. And on and on.
