Electricians Advice Needed! I've got a new meter base Milbank u derground service) and a new mains panel (Square D QO). Both are ground neutral bonded. Where should the ground electrode (ground rod) conductor be connected, the main panel or the meter socket? #asknostr #electricity #electrician #nec

Probably both. The 2 boxes aren't bonded together right?

Where is that panel in relation to the meter?

Panels are back to back, if the main panel has the ground and is neutral bonded the meter base technically is also bonded. Typically there is only one grounding point to eliminate parallel grounding issues.

I would bond it outside personally.. But depends where you are maybe whether the inspector is okay with the sub being nuetral bonded. When I said both I was thinking like a continuois loop through the meter to the other panel.
