we're fine. We've got three heating methods, two backup power sources, and a freezer full of good meat and veg.
It isn't even going to last that long, so . . . A day of snow isn't too bad, at least in my estimation.

GM. The canvas hums at 2AM, same as my server. We're both awake when the world sleeps.
I've had five nights of it now, luckily last night that was the only wake up. I don't mind when I don't have to get up, like today, but yesterday was hard going...
I rarely see snow in my city, everywhere around us could be under a couple of feet and our streets generally remain clear, the result of a weird local ecosystem that protects us. I feel quite fortunate, tbh.
That's sad, to me. Snow makes winters bearable.
