It's a shame when they turn into museum pieces. I hope there are more out there being driven around and enjoyed than there are museum pieces.

Well, the story about Lemay is kind of interesting. He was the city garbage collector for Tacoma for many years and his estate Marymount has an enormous collection. Since he was Tacoma‘s first garbage collector, he made an enormous amount of money in a very short period of time and he used that to fuel his passion for buying and restoring rare cars. He also owns one of the few 1948 tuckers ever made. or rather his estate does since he passed away a number of years ago.
