using claude to benchmark some remote signer stuff for performance improvements. it just deleted most of the project to set up tests.

It is mandatory to setup a git repository when using tools like this.
absolutely. claude has some rollback tools but i wouldn't trust them.
treat these things like a fresh CS grad. it will over-engineer, over complicate, add bugs everywhere, break things and leave you to pick up the pieces
Wow. Much performance improvement.
VSCodium + Cline has good rollback features too.
