Guns don't kill people. People kill people. Why should law abiding gun owners be punished because of crazy people. Look at Switzerland all healthy men 18-34 are required to do some military service if I am not mistaken and they allowed and generally pushed to keep their assault rifles and pistols. They have a very low rate of gun violence. Taking guns away from people means only the criminals have guns.

Isn't that the logic that's used by gun sellers? But I understand your stance. If US is going as far to build a wall to prevent people from entering, sending military to cities, do you really think they can't take away guns from everyone good n bad? Though I totally see the point of individual protection, have they changed the incidence of mass shootings? If not, there's obviously something wrong with the current stance. All I'm saying is we need to explore options that we haven't.
