Hunt is one thing but there are few that could. Probably a generational skill. But that's exactly what money is for... Paying someone else for their high skill in a certain field. You don't know how to build a computer but you're using one to reply to this comment. One that you bought with money.
I'd put money on @Jameson Lopp being able to butcher it with direction though.

I would not tell me what I can build, you don't know what my skills allow me to do.
Again, not saying I feel this way, I am relaying to you how others seem to feel because you seem to be perplexed by their reaction.
Butchering is not that easy btw, novices waste a good percentage of edible meat.
You can buy computer parts and put them together. My comment was not to say you can't build a PC... It's to say you cannot manufactur a GTX5090 or equivalent, but you can buy one.
I'm sure a novice would waste a lot of meat. That's not the point.
I know you don't own a chip fab. That's my point
Funny. Is there a difference between using sillica to fashion new chips and repurposing old ones? Discarded materials and raw materials are effectively the same, free component to build with.
I haven't heard of someone using a GTX5090 to render graphics for Nostr but that sounds neat. π

Touche. Good philosophical take.
But yes, there is a difference in fabbing 4nm transistors and repurposing 8nm transistors.
Efficiency for sure but I never claimed to have a better chip than Nvidia, just that I'm not dependent on them.
And I'm not dependent on my grocery store for peanut butter. But I'm just going to buy the peanut butter. I would be. Afool to make it myself or not buy it from @Oshi (ζ¨γ)
TouchΓ© that's a solid point.
I just looked at your pfp I'm detail. I like it... good analogy
