I’m not a parent. Does anybody worry about large inheritances spoiling the work ethic of offspring?

That’s a psyop to increase tax revenue. Most of the great people that fill your history books came from rich families. It’s all about how you raise your children.
I still have my kid go door-to-door asking neighbors to mow their lawn and shovel snow to earn money for things they want to buy. My kids will probably not have to work a day in their life when they get older, but I’m making sure they know what it means to work hard now (2 kids under 14). All about how you raise them.
No. It falls into "not important/philosophical" bin of problems. Not blinding kid with obedience and dependence on authority "because it is this way" is way more important.
