In a world where sous vide exists, no one has valid opinions on cooking anymore. Just sous vide it.
Sous vide is fine for like vegetables and chicken but gtfoh with a sous vide steak.

you keep it oiled the whole time, obviously. as long as you scrape the shit out of at after you're done searing it actually proves the seasoning
