Idan Raichel said in an interview that one of the soldiers showed him an old photograph found in a house in Khan Yunis.
The photo, taken 17 years ago, shows Raichel in a hospital next to a #Palestinian father and a baby who was receiving treatment.
This happened when he was volunteering for the Save a Child’s Heart project, and the child received life-saving treatment in #Israel.
The soldier showed another photo - today the same child turned out to be a #Hamas “shahid”.
Raichel added that if anyone is surprised by this, it is worth remembering that Yahya Sinwar, the leader of the terrorists who organized the October 7 massacre, also received life-saving treatment in an Israeli hospital.
- “It doesn’t matter what we do for them, it doesn’t matter what we give - even if we save their lives, they will do everything in their power to kill us.”
