No apology needed. It's a critical question. AI undergoes model collapse. That means there is no source of order infusing it from outside the system. It is dead and not alive. Life is the infusion of order from above. It's not even alive like a plant or an insect. It is also not intelligent at all. It is just a machine. I think "artificial intelligence" is actually an oxymoron. It's a stochastic database with a text generator. The fact that it suffers model collapse shows that there is more to life and intellect than a sufficiently complex arrangement of matter. AI is a resounding experimental falsification of materialism.
