Iran's regime is not a monolith. On one side are the pragmatists. They see the writing on the wall. To survive economically, Iran must integrate with BRICS and the Gulf Cooperation Council. On the other side are the IRGC hardliners. They are true believers who would rather see the country burn than abandon 50 years of resistance ideology.
