Hmm. The concept is probably waaaay older than that, more like it only really "materialized" a few years ago, but in some form it’s been around forever. Music is, indeed, the language of the soul, or like Wadsworth said, “the universal language of mankind,” so it just fits naturally into the value-for-value ecosystem, since it is value in itself.
