🔥Bitcoin Is NOT Ready for Mass Adoption
Yeah, I said it. While everyone is busy shouting “to the moon” and glorifying decentralization, here’s the uncomfortable truth: Bitcoin is far from ready to replace fiat.
Why?
• 🐢 Transaction times: Let’s face it, waiting 10+ minutes for a transaction in 2024 is a joke. Are we seriously going to convince the world to ditch their credit cards for this?
• 💸 Fees: Remember when Bitcoin was “peer-to-peer cash”? Now the fees are creeping up, and we’re pretending like that’s normal. Tell me how this helps the unbanked?
• 🏦 Centralized Mining: Don’t kid yourself. Mining is increasingly controlled by a few powerful entities. Is this decentralization or just a shiny new oligarchy?
• 🛑 The Lightning Network fantasy: LN isn’t the magic fix everyone pretends it is. The reality? It’s complicated, custodial, and STILL centralized. Great for small payments, but mass adoption? Keep dreaming.
• 🛑 Regulation & Compliance: Bitcoin was supposed to be censorship-resistant. But how are we celebrating ETFs and institutional adoption, knowing it brings more KYC and state control?
Bitcoin maximalists won’t tell you this. They’re too busy sipping the hopium. 🤷♂️
Wake up. Until Bitcoin fixes these issues, it’s not the revolution you think it is. Is BTC really the future, or are we just clinging to nostalgia?
