We moved from Kansas City area (1,600,000) to a town of 320 about 4 years ago, and bought 30 acres. Best choice we ever made... Love the privacy and room to do what we want, wife and kids agree about never returning to live in a big city, and God brought us to a wonderful church family right where we needed to be.
Oh, and we started keeping bees in horizontal hives. Can't have chickens or pigs as long as I keep working at a turkey hatchery, but the money is good for paying down debts, setting up infrastructure and stacking sats as hard as I can. 😉😁
