Imagine a large nostrverse of connected rooms like this. No need to host servers. Just open the client, edit your space, publish. Create portals to other spaces via hyperlinks. Its a new kind of web, but instead it documents, its shared virtual spaces you can hang out in with other people.

it did a decent job! all of these models are loaded off the internet. which means your virtual nostr rooms can look like anything you want. no restrictions! View quoted note → image

I feel like there's two types of nostriches, 1. Supports everything Bitcoin, enjoys the community as a social platform but enjoys real life to the fullest and is trying to become less attached mentally to hours plugged in. 2. Spends even more time online doing new things presented as human and AI coexisting together, there will be abandoned accounts and some that will be logged in constantly. I myself don't have the urge to join this virtual realm. I spend so much time in that realm designing floorplans and spent enough hours of my life designing on The Sims. Now, it is a very fun concept playing around and creating in new ways. I think the community would be niche
no servers? only of you at last go for #ndn . if you need more than ip routing (packet hauling) and maye only a tiny bit of dns-rootservers just in case you are doin it wrong. everybody uson the same / kind of software that embed the whole deal be it called clients or full nodes and #ndn with that.. wake me when nostr is headed in that direction
