STAY HUMBLE AND STACK ZAPS โšก๏ธ
To not accidentally zap while swiping why not press and hold and swipe to cancel? * short tap = minimum amount. 21sat zap or something. * tap and hold = amount increases exponentially. โšก gets bigger, starts to wiggle, sparks all around, phone vibrates ... and it explodes when reaching some maximum amount (if your cat fell asleep on your phone, although it probably would send the zap when the vibration starts) * tap and swipe = cancel zap and maybe scroll.
Oh seriously? Hmm very weird; on what phone are you? And you hadnโ€™t installed it before?? ๐Ÿค”
Do you need to move the finger to increase the value? It's doesn't seem a great IX, and it also has low discoverability. I would offer a single tap for the default value, and long pressing for zapping more, with a logarithmic increase. Like stacker.news
I think it's actually a great UX *BECAUSE* you need to move the finger; it's very appealing :D single-tap has a default value, long press shows a dialog where you manually set the amount we'll see, it's an experiment :D
not ready yet, should be out very soon though yolo zap starts by touching the icon and swiping in any direction if you don't swipe within a few ms and release it's a one-tap zap if you don't swipe and don't release within a few ms, it's a long-press and the zap bottom sheet is triggered
Got it. Then if it's a third option, it's cool and fun one. And the fact that it's not easily discoverable it's like a easter egg, it will make the user happy, or poor ๐Ÿ˜‚
