Watched all the way through 3x. My parents recorded it on VHS when it ran on tv. 🤣
Probably not super appropriate for a preteen, but my folks let us stay awake past bedtime to watch with them.
I like slow moving movies and shows like that. The Chinese version of Three-Body Problem is like that. 2001 a Space Odyssey is as well. Some of the Hitchcock movies are like that.

my brother liked it more than I did and my parents wanted nothing to do with it. too "weird." but they let us watch it. I should go back & re-watch. I missed some episodes back then.
I was curious about it and watched it beginning to end, one episode a day, several years ago.
I saw 2001 when I was a little kid, of course I didn’t understand it then, but I read the entire series when I was really sick awhile ago.

Yes. I was a huge fan in the early1990s. Sherilyn Fenn and Lara Flynn Boyle were my style icons. Went on to watch most of David Lynch’s films.
Yeah it’s really bizarre seeing it as an adult. Just got curious when I moved towns awhile ago and decided to give it a shot since I didn’t know my way around town.
All I knew when I was a kid was that Bob crawling over a sofa the way he did was the scariest thing I had seen!
David Lynch made another miniseries called Wild Palms which was even trippier.
Never heard of it - on the list now!
