In her first full interview since announcing her resignation from Congress following a series of public attacks from President Donald J. Trump, Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene told *60 Minutes* that Trump’s remarks “directly fueled” death threats against her and her family. She said she raised the issue with the White House but received an “extremely unkind” response from the president.
Greene also claimed that many Republicans are afraid to “step out of line” with Trump, saying that behind closed doors they have mocked him — and her — but that since 2024 they have all begun “kissing his ass.”
