Saint Lup, a faithful servant of God, fearlessly defended Christianity. Born in the 3rd century, he was a slave freed by Saint Demetrius of Thessaloniki. After Demetrius' martyrdom, Lup took Demetrius' ring, dipped it in his blood, and went about destroying idols and performing miracles, healing many in need. He was arrested for his faith and beheaded during the reign of Emperor Maximian.
