💯 That struggle is definitely not my struggle. I also don't really get the whole mentality around it, as choosing a spouse was something on my TODO list and it's like... but I already did that. I'm not married, but probably because I don't participate in groundhog Day at all.... I was never willing to make the compromises. there are so many interesting things to get involved in, just decide what your life is going to look like and be done with it. I think it's really self-involved for people to always be considering "is this situation good enough FOR ME? maybe I can make it a little bit better FOR ME." they end up spending so much time screwing around with the window dressing of life, they never actually make anything substantial.
