I would suggest not listening to any American reports on Xinjiang, if youve been there nothing they say is remotely true. I remember Alex Gladstein parrotting these points and he's proven himself not to be trustworthy either on these topics.

I listen to Muslims and learn about the shady tactics of the Chinese government. You need to stop idolizing any government.

I've lived in China, on and off, since Jiang Zimin. I have friends from Xinjiang, and pretty much any other province you could name. I don't know anyone that loves Xi Jinping.

Both can be true, and people don't care about the CCP or the CIA as long as they behave like intelligence agencies.
